| THE
58th ANNUAL PEACH CLASSIC HANDICAP SINGLES RULES AND REGULATIONS |
- Each contestant
will bowl five games across six lanes (2-1-2).
- AVERAGE:
All entrants must have a sanctioned 21+ game average as of April 15,
2009 to qualify for handicap.
Then entrants will use highest 21 or
more game average in USBC sanctioned leagues as of April 15, 2008 or 2009 whichever
is higher or Summer 2008 if it exceeds book average by 10 or more pins
(USBC Rule 319a-2). Any PBA member must bowl scratch. - Bowlers
who are not members of USBC can qualify for entry by paying a $5.00 participation
fee. Male non-members will use a 220 average. Female non-members will use a 200
average.
- Any
bowler who has won or is in position to win a combined total of $500.00
(cash or merchandise) or more for the period January 1, 2008 through July 27,
2009 will be subject to rerate. It is the bowler's responsibility to so notify
tournament officials in writing. Failure to notify in writing will result in forfeiture
of all tournament winnings.
- USBC
Rule 319a.3 does not apply. All bowlers placing in the money must submit average
verifications from all associations, in which they have bowled, to tournament
committee by August 15, 2009 or the bowler will receive a zero handicap. Verified
average will be used.
- HANDICAP:
WOMEN 90% OF 220 with a maximum hdcp. of 400 MEN 75% OF
220 with a maximum hdcp. of 250 |
- Regular
McHenry Bowl employees are not eligible to compete.
- All
USBC participants are cautioned to familiarize themselves with the rerating requirements
of USBC rule 319e listed in the 2008-2009 Season Playing Rules, available at the
control desk. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
- It
is the bowler's responsibility to notify the tournament committee prior to participation,
in writing, if they have ever been rerated in any tournament or by their local
bowling association. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
- Tournament
committee reserves the right to reject or reclassify any or all entries prior
to participation.
- Contestants
may enter four times, but place only once in the regular prize list for position
standings, high game awards and 5 game scratch category, and once each Bonus Day.
Use best two entries for 10 game HDCP category.
- Prize
Fund returned 100% in accordance with USBC rules.
- Bowling
balls must meet USBC specifications and may be subject to inspection. Prior inspection
available at tournament site.
- Entries
close when squads are filled, with additional squads added if necessary. Last
squad will be 5:00pm, July 26th, 2009.
- All
matters not covered by these rules and regulations shall be determined by the
tournament director.

| Premature
termination of the tournament brought about by war, national emergency or causes
relating thereto or therefrom, fire, natural disaster or any other reason beyond
the control of the McHenry Bowl, shall cause, to the extent required thereby,
all advertised prizes, guaranteed or otherwise, to be prorated in accordance with
the number of entrants who have bowled in each of the respective events up to
the time of such termination. |
